NFL.com scouting report of T.J. Green |
NFL.com has released its
prospect review of former Clemson safety
T.J. Green and graded him as a 5.41 on their prospect scale. 5.30-5.69 is categorized as a player that has a chance to become a backup or eventual starter.
"Height/weight/speed prospect who appears to be heating up around draft circles," NFL.com said. "With just one year of full-time starting experience and so much dead tape due to deep coverage responsibilities, teams will have a limited sample size to operate from, but traits usually win out. If Green hits a fast forty at the combine (as expected), his stock will get a bump. Green’s coverage potential is evident, but he might need time on the bench to watch and learn early on." Green finished his junior season with 95 tackles, 5.5 for loss, broke up three passes and forced two fumbles. In 2014, he had 24 tackles and an interception.
