WATCH: Elliott on depth chart, QB battle

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott spoke with the media on Monday as he answered a question about the depth chart that was released today.

"You know the depth chart is just where you start and it is going to change week-to-week and the guys know that they got to come out every day to practice and compete," Elliott said. "There's competition at every position. Obviously, there is one position in particular (QB) that probably got the most focal point but it's been great competition."

Eliott knows that game time is earned through hard work at practice.

"You let the guys go practice and you put them in tough situations and then you evaluate everything they do and each coach has their own metric how they evaluate their positions and it's tallied up daily."
