Vegas odds on Clemson-FSU

No. 4 Clemson escaped with a 38-31 victory over a tough North Carolina State squad to put them in the driver's seat in the ACC Atlantic division. It was the Tigers' ninth straight win over a top 25 team extending a school record.

Clemson is now an impressive 39-3 in its last 43 contests. Next up for Clemson is a disappointing Florida State team (3-5) hungry to get their first signature win of the season.

Vegas oddsmakers have Clemson as an 18 point home favorite against Florida State in Death Valley on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET. It is the biggest underdog spread for the Seminoles since they were 25.5 point underdogs against Florida in 2009.

However, expect Florida State to compete hard as several NFL scouts will be in attendance.

The Seminoles survived 27-24 against Syracuse in Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday to garner their first home win of the season.

Florida State will be trying to win back-to-back games for the first time this season on Saturday against Clemson. Who would have ever predicted that scenario? Before the beginning of the season, ESPN commentator Kirk Herbstreit had Florida State projected as one of his four playoff teams this season.
