See what happens when you spend big, big money and go for the hot big name coach. I think Tennessee now realizes you get screwed in the end !
Kiffin - screws over UT for So. Cal.
Leach - Fired.
Kelly - Screws over Cincy for ND.
Leavitt - Fired.
All of these big names were tossed around on this board. In retrospect, Thank you Terry Don for making the best decision.
I'm glad Dabo is our coach. He will be around for a while.

First of all, Dabo has only been here as HC for one season.
More than that, how long was Leach at TT before he got fired? He's been a great coach down there and will continue to be one.
Saban says hello.
Kelly didn't screw over Cincy. He left for a 'dream job'. Cincy has never been a football school yet he took them farther than we've been ever been since a little before the BCS era started. You can't blame him.
Leavitt? Really? I wouldn't have put him on the list to come to Clemson. And honestly, never heard his name mentioned. Just another firing you needed to pad your post.
What about Chris Peterson? This dude, to me, is close to an Urban Meyer type. He is a great coach who has had multiple undefeated seasons, and has beaten some of the big dogs in big games.
What about Gary Patterson?
It's easy to point the finger when you're looking back. And of course Dabo wouldn't do anything to leave or get fired right now. He's in the middle of learning how to become a coach. He was handed the job straight from being a wide receivers coach. He makes one slip, and his head coaching career is in jeopardy. Plus, nobody is knocking on his door to want to have him as a HC... so there's literally ZERO threat of him leaving.
