It's funny. The only place I've ever seen Coach Scott

criticized is on Tnet or some other fan website.
The man can coach, is highly thought of in coaching circles, college & high school, loved by his players and can flat out recruit.
The only finger pointing I see is from 'fans' like you.

and if the OL does well this year I will give him credit

He will have done a good job if the OL does well. We are still young and still a little green, but he only has the g/c now so how much of the credit will be his will really not be known. I think he is more hot air than anything.

You missed the point. TDP is payed by the school to make those decisions. To make changes in all or part of the coaching staff.

I didn't miss anyting. Your point was that if someone

doesn't know more about the profession of the person he is criticizing, their opinion of that person doesn't matter...because they don't possess the technical merit to render any sort of educated judgment. So, along those lines, since TDP doesn't know more about OL schemes than Brad, his opinion about our OL doesn't count.
You didn't say anything about anyone getting paid to make decisions, so you are backtracking a bit.
What about Barker, is he directly responsible for making changes to the coaching staff? If not, than according to your logic, his opinion about our fball team means SQUAT too, right?

I support coach Scott but I am anxiously waiting to see how

the line does this year. His unit has been our weakest link. Now I don't know how much of his fault that is but any reasonable fan has to know it's at least partial. So then, if the line does poorly again, I think it is in the best interest of the program to remove him as offensive line coach. Obviously this is ONLY in the scenario that our interior line does poorly again. Dabo shrank his responsibilities already. I think Dabo will be watching Brad this season as will I.
As for the excuses, I didn't read the article so I can't comment on it, but speaking of excuses in general, I think we have seen where those get us... 8 wins a year.

I support Brad also. Good man and coach. And let us not forget that for the 3 previous years he had to coach the OL out of that stupid 2 point stance. He's never coached that way, as has no one else except Rob Spence. This year is a big year for the OL, I think we'll be alot better. Experience means everything an the OL. You can't teach cohesion, it comes from playing together. Barring injuries we should have that this year.

When he was at South Carolina, he was a "buffoon" and "Fat Brad" to Clemson fans.

He also only went to one bowl game- something both Spurrier and Holtz easily eclipsed.
