I have a good friend that just went through a major . . .

surgery to rid his body of renal cell cancer, a Clemson guy, who is one of the best guys in this world that I know, a good husband and father of two; I have another buddy, USC grad, that lost his job on Wednesday, has a daughter at Clemson and a son that's a junior in high school; not sure either of them really cared that Clemson lost and USC won thier ball games yesterday;
I say so because times are tough right now for many people in many different ways and I am thankful for all the good friendships I have, friendships where "school affiliation" makes absolutely no difference;
Of certainty, either "I" am getting old or "I hate all Coots (or) Taters" is getting old; or else it is a combination of the two - g&b

Lol just kidding... Also, I agree w you G&B, even as a Clemson student now, it is so frustrating to know people on both sides think less of others because they chose one fine institution over another fine institution...
on the other hand, good ribbing is always fun, but normally it goes way too far and becomes ridiculous and inappropriate
