Prayers needed and a short story about my mother.

My mother is a big reason why I am a "Sunshine Pumper" for the Tigers. She and my father raised 10 children, 9 of whom went to Clemson. Of the 7 that graduated from Clemson, we hold 10 degrees from Clemson University.
2 of her 21 grandchildren attend Clemson now with many more waiting in the wings.
She has written many letters to the coaches, Athletic Directors, and Presidents at Clemson University in support of the coaching staff over the years, through good times and bad. She has also written many letters to the newspapers. As she is fiercly protective of her cubs(her children,) she is also protective of her beloved Clemson. I have nominated my mother several times over the years for the Tiger Brotherhood's Mother of the Year because of my mother and father's hositality towards many Clemson students over the years (and of course for raising so many Clemson sons and daughters, as the award was originally intended). My family served as an unofficial host family for international students, many of whom were stranded in Clemson over the holidays by themselves. With my siblings and I attending Clemson University continuously from 1972-1995 we also dragged home many fellow students who were homesick and my mother always fed them a homecooked meal.
She and my father have watched or listened to every Clemson football and basketball game since the early 1970's.
My mother is in the hospital right now fighting for her life. She was battling the winter crud as best a soon to be 81 year old lady can and took a turn for the worse with a seizure and possible stroke.
Please pray for her and my family. Thank you.

Lord in Heaven you have a plan, a time and a place for everything. We ask that you send your spirit to be with this family. That a legion of angels comfort and minister to them. We ask that your will be to heal this tired body and that this wonderful soul will continue to encourage us. We ask that you hold her in your hand, comfort her, heal her and if that is not your will that you open your gates and usher her soul into the mansion of many rooms you have prepared for your faithful and chosen. That she can come to know what we can only imagine - what it is like to be in the presence of unfailing and unconditional love that can only be found in our father in Heaven. May her faith be strong and her will determined. Lord we ask these things of you for these members of the Clemson Family
