Today, we laugh at you... Not for being turned down once by a barely mediocre OC... But being turned down twice! You should come see how we do it in Tigertown, where we have no problem getting or keeping mediocre coaches year after year after year...
Maybe you should stop and think about why RS doesn't want to coach for you:
1. Your players rival South Carolina for the Thug award every year.
2. You have the most obnoxious fans in the world. If RS thought Clemson fans were tough on him... Wait till the inbred UT fans start on in on him after going 3 and out every pos. from the 3rd Qtr on... The good thing is most of them can't read or write so VolNet is pretty tame.
3. He would get completely exposed coaching in the SEC.
4. It would make too many Tiger fans happy.
5. It not about the money... Tenn Sucks, and Clemson doesn't...

Spence has padded the Clemson stats by beating teams like Duke by 30 or more points. Against good defenses, he is barely average. Inside the opponent's ten yard line, he is patheticly bad. That's why Clemson has never won an OT game since Spence got here. Read Sunday's State newspaper. Even the Clemson beat writer says that Spence's offense is predictable and bad in the red zone.

I think he's saying we beef up our stats in games like that one and then do less against quality opponents.
Pretty much everyone does, though.
I'd agree that our red zone offense is pretty bad at times, but not all the time.
Like the rest of our football team and teams for the last 9 years, the RZ offense is inconsistent.

Seriously, I wish I had a dollar for every time you've said "TELL THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS THAT!!" WOW, WHAT an arguement!! Come up with a new one, please! I think most people here know WHY the play is in our offense, we just don't like being used on 3rd and 10!! Spence needs a COMPASS so he can learn the ### difference between east/west and north/south!! THAT'S we deride your beloved bubble screen so much! It's not that it's used, it's HOW it's used and when!! OK? Now, go tell the New England Patriots THAT!
