Folks...
I don't post here often anymore, but have been around for many years.
I just wanted to let you know that my Grandfather Al Cameron, my father Neill (VP/Development - CU), myself and my two sons will be "Running Down the Hill" on saturday as part of pre-game festivities.
My grandfather (Class of '41) is a former Army officer and served in WW2. My father, sons and I will be escorting him down the hill before the game.
Running down that hill on gameday has been a lifelong dream of mine. Don't get me wrong - I would much rather have done it as a player many years ago, but being short, white and unathletic kind of prevented it. I am not griping... this will still be a highlight of my life.

That is cool. We'll be saluting your grandfather and cheering you all. But don't blame your whiteness for not suiting up at Clemson. I tell my boys, crackers themselves, too, that all they need is talent and commitment. Once they've committed themselves into proper form, I'll admit they have no hope with the talent they got from me.

and I'm sure I'd run down the hill if I had a chance.... but to me, that honor should only be bestowed upon those who currently play or coach at Clemson... and if there is a reunion of a team from 10 or 20 or 25 years ago, they should be allowed to run down as well...
just my two cents.. hope you enjoy it!
