A few notes for USC fans that frequent this board:

Nov 6, 2005, 9:30 AM

1. 1st, good morning and congrats on your win yesterday
2. for the most part, we are glad you visit us, even though your numbers increase exponentially when you either win a game or we lose one.
3. please forgive us if we are not awestruck by your win over Arkansas. somewhow when a team wins a game while gaining less than 200 yards total offense versus a 2-6 team allowing nearly 400 per game, plus allows nearly 400 to that same team, it just doesn't blow us away. Call us crazy!
4. Yes, agree, i would rather win on the scoreboard than on the stat sheet. but stats DO tell you something about the relative abilities of a team, and what it tells me is that USC is a) very opportunistic (coot speak), or b)very fortunate (real speak).
5. you have certainly made the most of your schedule in a very down year in your conference (not your fault!), that plus 7 home games and an embarrasing OOC schedule (like the rest of the SEC in that respect though)
6. lastly, why are you surprised when you posters (such as myself)don't appreciate the great and mighty ##### on this board?

Who cares about the coots

Nov 6, 2005, 9:48 AM

There is no sense to argue or debate these people. In two weeks it will be settled on the field. I can't wait.

You had seven posts about their game yesterday....

Yes, win how you must. However, what teams WITH a winning record have you beat yet? I wouldn't spend all my time bragging right now. You are a little overconfident for a program who has absolutely no sustained success in it's history. I wouldn't be suprised if ol' Steve ditched you for a better job opportunity within the next few years.
Not to mention, Danny was a coach of the 80's. This isn't the 80's, and you can't coach like that anymore. South Carolina is way too far behind Clemson in the series, conference championships, national championships, and wins period to accomplish anything significant under Steve Spurrier. The man is sixty-something years old, and he is not going to coach forever.

I'm not overconfident of anything,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Read my post, all I wasid was a win is a win is a win.
That;s it, nothing about history, stats, schedules, etc..

again, a win is a win is win........... End of story

The most ironic part of this post is that Clemson's SOS is far worse that SC's, despite the 'down' conference and the poor out of conference opponents.

Even in a 'down' year, the SEC has MANY more powerhouses that the ACC...even with the expansion.

1. Thank you.
2. Same as Tiger fans on our boards.
3. You shouldn't be awestruck. We are what we are.
Improved and Bowl eligible. Not great.
4. Don't forget about coaching. Good stats doesn't
= victory. See Clemson.
5. How many home games does CU have this year? Don't
even try to say that this is an "Up" year for the
ACC. The top 3 aren't anywhere near spectacular.
How embarrassing is it to play Temple and aTm?
6. We don't care if you don't appreciate us. We're
here to read what are mostly realistic and
intelligent views. We also enjoy the posts that
reak of #### envy, like yours.

"aTm" would beat USuC's ####.***
