Clemson FINED for littering AFTER the game????

NC State Coach Chuck Amato to meet with
Coach Tommy Bowden after NC State fines
Clemson for littering.

AP- (Raleigh) NC State Athletic Director Lee Fowler
confirmed today that Clemson University has
received a letter from North Carolina State
campus operations officials requesting payment
of a fine for littering.

President Michael Adams, who has recently led a
charge to clean up the NC State campus on game day,
expressed "regret" over the situation. He
promised to meet with Head Coach Tommy Bowden to
discuss the allegations.

The letter from NC State was apparently generated
after the empty can of WHOOPAZZ that Clemson
opened on NC State was not disposed of properly
after the game inside Carter Finley Stadium Saturday
night. "We usually designate one of the freshman
to pick up the empty can," Clemson Quarterback Charlie
Whitehurst said. "I guess with all the NC State fans leaving early, he got distracted"

Tommy Bowden is expected to contact the league office about Clemson’s use of the ENTIRE can.
