Gotta give Brownell some credit for today...

...at one point the game we had a line-up of Bobo, Narcisse, Anderson, Jennings and Young going toe-to-toe against a team of 5 UNC All-Americans & 3 ACC Officials. Reverse the coaching roles in this situation and Brownell takes Roy Boy to the woodshed...guaranteed.
I was pretty skeptical of the Brownell hire when it occurred, but I have to admit that he has proved me wrong. Here's to hoping that he can figure out a way to win some of these close games and recruit some true basketball players to Clemson.
Now if only he goes ape #### all over some ACC ref this season I will be a fan for life.

off at the right time.
You tell the players not to worry about the calls just play, but it means a lot when a coach stands up for his team.
I can't think of a time this year when he should have gone off on the refs, but I hope if the opportunity presents its self that he is ready and willing.

and Marshall are good, but they're freshman. Zeller and Henson are tall, but they're not especially skilled. And the Heels can't shoot for crap. Stop trying to make today seem like a good thing--it isn't. We lost a very winnable game at home the EXACT same way we lost it on the road.

Our best player averaging 15 PPG at home got shut out today.
Ever since Grant got his very first shot blocked, it's like he was instantly in a funk.
Very unfortunate, but I love the flashes I saw from Jennings. He will be the foundation for the next two years.
I swear some of you just like to #####.

Facts are Brownell has won 17 games and still has a good chance at going to the dance.All this in his first year with a team picked to finish at the bottom of the ACC.So even if its the NIT,lets go out and win it.I say that Im proud of the team and its been a good year.

Clemson will be a national premier basketball program close to or on parr with Duke in 4 or 5 years .. I,ve never been this confident in Clemson basketball before and I,ve been here since the Tree Rollins era .

would say on par with Duke) but only if he can recruit to Clemson and we can keep him at Clemson. I'm a big fan though as he has proven to be a lot more than what I expected.
