Half of you on this board owe Dabo and Steele a huge apology

I'm not dubbing this team champions or anything, but they recovered and coached this team into two wins following a steak of three losses.
That's no easy task, and those two deserve a lot of credit.

"but they recovered and coached this team into two wins following a steak of three losses"
against one crummy team and one very average/below average team
...we still aren't winning the difference makers
i guess there is no great "story" of recovery and overcoming adversity when you actually WIN the games on your schedule
great win today
but we are BEHIND the eight ball, crossing our fingers that FSU drops one

Yeah, right. That last drive was the kind wsaw every game when I was there in the early 80s.
Everyone that doesn't owe the coaches an apology owes them a huge pat on the back.

How many snaps did you get? How many hours coaching? Hours spent whineing, b!tching, and backstabbing coaches and players don't count in my book. Next time you are in Walmart buy a new hat.

I think they need to apologize to Tiger Nation for AE riding the bench in UNC game. And I haven't said anything bad about them, even tho, I do think they lost that game....

Someone is always holding another accountable......
Congratulations for winning a game that you should have won is what is in order and not an apology....

competetion in a weak conference is hardly reason to apologize for, BTW, pointing out REAL flaws & weaknesses!
After a complete season of playing Clemson FB, and being consistent in all areas of the game, then I'll say I was wrong, until then you're nuts!

Attaboy for doing what has been expected and keep up the good work. No one is going to fuss at you for getting beat by a superior team. Choking to an inferior team and blowing big leads will put you in the dog house just about always

Give it a rest. We lost 3 games to decent teams. All of them were winnable, and I know that's bound to frustrate some people. But we're not a bad team, and we still have a shot at having a decent season. Save all the whining for downtime, when it might actually matter.

I had the feeling all the second half that dabos play calling was going to blow this game. We won when napiers play calling took over and he ran ellington.

and believe me, I don't doubt it, then we are really in deep water. Any time we face a decent defense we are going to get beat. That includes FSU and SC. You can't have dueling playcallers and expect to beat good teams.

THis was the offensive gameplans the coaches talked about before... mix it up through most of the game and go to the backs down the stretch. Worked great today.

I see that as dabos gameplan not napiers.
dabos meddling in the offense. He wants to run the spread---and sorry--but we win when we line up and run the ball and pass off play-action.
just my opinion.

You'll never get it from all the losers on here that have bad mouthed the coaches, the players, and now are embarrassed because all of their predictions of a Tigers and coaching staff meltdown against Tech are out the window. Now it's just: "they should have beaten them anyway", or "don't get excited you're still barely over .500". Just let them have their way and forget about them......

We should have been running the ball all the games. Even today in the second quarter we got away from it. We only scored 10 points in the 3 last quarters.
We need to learn to keep our foot on their throat when we have teams down on the ground.

We beat a BAD (1-6) Sun Belt team, a BAD (1-6) Big South team, a mediocre Maryland team and a mediocre Georgia Tech team (who was beaten like a drum by Kansas. Nobody owes Dabo or Steele any apology.

I guess you could be refering to me. I have always been agaist Dabo's hiring. But I never said I wanted him fired either. Yesterday I was proud of Dabo and the team. We needed that win and we got it. GT has been a thorn in our side for years and we finnally stuck it to them. BUT...Lets not get ahead of ourselves. GT was not a top 25 team, and they lost to a terible Kansas team. Of the 4 ACC games we have left, I expect to win at BC and Wake, and think it will be a toss up with NC State, and likely a loss at FSU. Not going to worry about USC until we finish the ACC. That means we will be 7-4 or 6-5 heading into our final game. But we could win out and be 8-3. Not a bad year but far from what I expect from this university. All in all yesterday was a good day and lets all support the team and coaches and hope for the best.

well put. To play well enough to win out and be 8-3 would certainly make at least 2 of the losses hurt even more
these coaches have to prove themselves. they had erased the ? from last year but let it jump right back on them
the real question is how does it impact recruiting. bring me some 4 and 5 star OLinemen
