No trips to the Big 12 championship game, and no guarantee he will go this year.
No recruiting ties to the Southeast.
On the arrogance front, he's Steve Spurrier with more chins.
Clemson wants to win quickly after waiting so long for Bowden to deliver.
Leach is a system guy. More than likely it will take time with him.
Plus, when he's done at Tech, let's see what happens. Has he built a program there or finally just gotten enough of the right players to run his system???
I do no want Leach.

win BIG in the ACC his first year or two.
I agree he is like Steve Spurrier and that's fine with me if it results in wins and ACC championships.
He would carve the ACC up with the talent he could get here. The ACC isn't near as tough as the Big 12 and if he won early he could create a recruiting dynasty at Clemson.
He is carving up the big 12 right now with 3* players. Imagine what he could do with the talent we have right now.
Sure, our players aren't a fit for his system per se, but I think you'd be surprised how effective his offense would be immediately.
I agree though, we won't get him, and that's too bad. I just hope whomever we get it works out. This is a transitional pick and that makes it huge.
