He tried to tell us that if we, as fans, don't stop looking ahead to the playoffs and another championship that we would lose a game. He told all of us to focus on our next opponent every week. And yet you all just sat there and mocked him for it. And what happened? While only a few of us were focusing on UNC, y'all were talking about blowouts, and Bama, and Heisman trophies and playoffs.
I hope you learned your lesson, you better start focusing on FSU instead of looking forward. UNC gave you your warning, so get your shyatt together!

would cover. When I said I would be surprised if we did based on the season to date and our strategy with substitutions, they were shocked. I told them that we were big favorites vs Pitt in 2016 and Syracuse in 2017, and we lost those games. We need to concern ourselves with winning, not looking past opponents.

season. Got up extra early to practice my cheers and pick my game day attire. Worked late into the night studying opponents schedules and key games. Poured over roster after roster and put in the extra time necessary watching and listening to Radio and TV pundits. But now is the time to STAY FOCUSED! We are 5-0, mainly due to the enthusiasm and focus of our fans. The coaches don't look ahead nor do the players. Dabo probably couldn't even tell you who we play after FSU, and we shouldn't know either. One game at a time!

I learned my lesson shortly after I become a college FB fan 57 years ago. I learned well that what I said, how loud or soft I said it, or how many times I said it, it won't make any difference of what happens on the field before, during, or after the game. Coaches and players controls what happens in college team sports, and fans control absolutely nothing!!!
