In defense of Pawless and others... let me say this...

I have been on this board for quite a few years. It has changed dramatically in the past year or so, and not for the better.
I do still lurk here almost daily and post from time to time, but I have almost given up on the board because it has turned into something I am not sure I want to be a part of due to the fact that many posters have started attacking each other over the smallest theoretical differences. Yesterday was a good example.
A ton of good people (happycat, TigerCobb, COOT4LIFE, Tiger85/Tillman Girl and others) have abandoned this board because of the vitriol spewed by a few who have decided that this is THEIR board and if you can't agree with them, they will insult you to the point there is no sense in staying.
That is not what Clemson and Tiger Nation is supposed to be about.
We all knew sarcasm was part of the program from day one, but it has graduated to outright combat at times. That is not fun for anyone.
Yesterday reminded me of better days. Recruiting and what is best for Clemson ruled the day... until Pawless spoke up.
Like it or not... this board is a community. Some of the people in our community are acting a bit heavy handed and running off valuable members of our family.
This is really too bad for all of us. I don't know about you, but I miss TigerCobb, C4L and the rest. There are a ton of great people on here even now, but some of the ones who have left, left us with many Hall of Fame posts and moments of outright hilarity that will endure.
It is a shame they still aren't here because somewhere along the line we all forgot we were in this together.

A lot of fine, good folks no longer post here because of others who came along and decided they couldn't be civil because, gosh darnit, this is their board.
I remember Happycat... the man never had an unkind word for anyone, and yet some people feel felt inclined to be rude to him.

Don't think Happycat left because anyone was being rude. I thought he left because there was so much trash on the board, it didn't resemble a Clemson board anymore.
Maybe things were different for him in the Lounge. From what I remember, the Lounge didn't start off mean spirited, but it sure got that way in a hurry.
