I obviously missed the press conference where Brownell got fired. What was I thinking? I see all these posts about the new coaches and who Clemson should look at and realize I missed the presser!!!!

I've had some wine... But when I click on your threads, and when I think of David Hood... I want Fact. No sarcasm, no trying to be funny, just straight news and facts about Clemson athletics, specifically football. There's too much ####### sarcasm on this board. I would really like my TNet 'source' to be a straight-up cold-blooded truth teller.
I mean, it is March and our basketball and baseball teams are wayyy bad, so I'm gonna let this one slide, but Please understand that there are few of us who don't care for the sarcasm on this site, and just want the truth! Basically I hope this one joke doesn't make me have to think that some things you say are jests. Literally 90% of the clowns on here, I can't tell if they're being real or sarcastic. Don't feel so bad David bc, so did I, and I try not to miss anything that concerns or effects our Tigers in a big way. Here I have already missed out on the firing of a coach that I thought would have a much better chance in recruiting once he got move into the arena that he ask for to put himself and his team on a much easier playing field to compete in. Shame on us!!!

team played this year, and how us fans feel after having to watch Brownell bumble along on the sidelines. Losing to Winthrop, rutgers, Gardner Webb, USuC. How we felt during too darn many 5, 10, 15 minute scoring droughts, watching our players act like scoring a bucket was against the rules. How we felt when D-Rad gave BB an extension, a raise, and a ludicrous buyout after last year just because he made the NIT... NIT is crap, we pick on USuC for making the NIT, now that gets you a raise and extension here at Clemson? Ridiculous. Terrible is how us fans feel after watching us going from making three straight NCAA's, to now, HOPING to make the NIT.

Baseball though...it's puzzling. I'd say this year's results may determine the direction we want to head with the program.
