Update on First Friday Injury --Thanks (long)

Sep 10, 2005, 8:13 AM

As many of you know, my 9 year old granddaughter Caroline Terry was injured at the First Friday Parade. I am happy to report that she is home and recovering very well. She is sore and has a few days/weeks of recovery time but the injuries are not life altering. In my eyes this is truly a miracle that she was not more seriously injured.
Thanks to all Tigernetters and other members of the Clemson family who kept her in your thoughts and prayers during the last week. We truly appreciate it.
I have been a member of Tigernet for several years but have never posted. I am happy to be able to make this post about Caroline

Thanks Ober= I hear on the grapevine that Central Spirit and/or the Athletic Department are going to do something nice for her. They are just waiting on her to get better before they plan anything.

That is great news not only for you and your family but my 6 year old granddaughter who was there and has asked about Caroline nearly every day. What a relief it is to be able to tell her of her recovery and that her prayers have been answered. God Bless you all.

Be sure to get her to a Clemson game , when she is able to do so. She has been the focus ofmany prayers and concerns since 9/2 PM.

Is there an address that we can send a get well card to?

Sep 10, 2005, 10:17 AM

I know you may not want to give out a personal addy, but if there is a way for us to send her a card, it would be appreciated.

She remains in our prayers.
