I'm really worried that the lack of blue-chippers in this class is going to be a drag on our program for the next several years.
I mean what were the coaches doing? We know they weren't studying film on WV, that's for sure.

I would have loved to see Clemson Football sign a few 5 stars this year, (Marshall & Bullard would have been huge) but the ones Clemson targeted chose to play somewhere else. This coaching staff still signed a top 10 class that fills their needs though, and they did it before the addition of Venables. They could still sign a gem or two today too. Another solid class that should add quality & depth IMO.

Some posters just don't get it! This has got to be an "all time stupid" post for Tigernet or any other Clemson site. Dabo put it quite wisely when he indicated he would love knowing on NSD who was already committed and coming aboard without any doubt.
So we lost a few potential players today and now "the sky is falling." The idea that every NSD must be filled with drama is so shortsighted. Give the staff credit for an outstanding class which is balanced and talented on both sides of the ball. The attitude of "instant gratification" is so apparent in some poster's comments that they can't see ahead because of second guessing just about every move or result the staff is seemingly responsible for at any given time! How about step back, take a deep breath and above all else be thankful the tremendous effort put forth by all concerned to achieve what Clemson accomplished today.
Postscript: Before you "go off" about 2013 just know Clemson presently has a limited number of scholarships so don't expect a huge class.

Are you kidding me! Clemson won every home game, won the ACC for the first time in 20 years. They won 10 games. The had a top 10 recruiting class for the second year in a row. And you hope Dabo and the staff can get it together! What are you expecting? What is it going to take to please people like you, a national championship every year. Get a life dude!
