All those calling for Dabo's head and living in fantasy

world, uh we lost 90% of our offense last year. You don't lose Spiller, Ford and Palmer and expect to be right on par as the acc atlantic team the year before. Also doesn't help to have your best offensive weapon hurt in Ellington. Let SC lose Latty and see where they go, we've already seen where they go as FSU and KY showed us that. The guy just brought in a great OC and hired a great DC and is bringing in the best talent Clemson has ever had or atleast since Danny. The guy is doing some great things hear and when he takes us to the next level starting in 2012 don't jump on the band wagon and we will win 8 games this year.

I'm thinking FSU, VaTech, NC and coots.
Who you got in the L column?

My 4 loses is Va tech, FSU, Coots if Latty stays healthy, but who knows cause I think this offense will be rolling by then. Not sure who the 4th is, I just think 8 wins is the lowest we have and more likely.

Bellamy, Bryant, Watkins, Boyd, Breeland, Anthony, and maybe Steward should all be jelling by the game vs the Coots. The more I think about it the more I think we beat them. If we played them the first game of the year I would sadly give them an advantage. By seasons end we beat them if our D steps up which i think it will. We may just put so many points on them that win no matter what. I am calling a victory there as well.
Troy -w Wofford- w Auburn- w FSU - home but a toss up at Vtech- first loss BC- w at MD-w UNC- lean towards a w at Gtech- w Wake-w at NC State w at USuC- lean towards a w
8-4 at worst imo and could be an amazing year too if our D steps up. I have no doubt our O will be much improved and rolling by game 4.

Agreed. And they aren't that good. If/when we develop

our offense, we will beat them. They like to fantasize that they're worlds better than us, but in reality if we had any offense at all last year things could have been much different against them and basically our entire schedule.

I have called for his head in the past but won't anymore. I like the direction we're going with the new coaches. That said, while we did lose a lot on offense from the year before, but there's no excuse for us to be as bad as we were last year. Even with all the offensive losses, we lost a lot of games we should have won (Auburn, FSU were the biggies) if not for stupid mistakes.

The 2010 team didn't have an on-the-field offensive leader.

Once Ellington went down, nobody stepped up to take charge, least of all Parker. He was far too into himself. Honestly, Boyd's closing minutes in Charlotte was the first time I saw anyone really try to inspire and move the team in the huddle going back to '09. I don't know how much you can coach this mentality into someone. It seems like these new classes though have a lot of that kind of presence in them, and I think DS has probably considered that in his recruiting.
New playcallers that fit our players better, a tested new O-line philosophy, and continuity plus key new position players on defense, add a leader in the offensive huddle and this has the makings to be a winning team.

put some enthusiasm into the huddle but by the time he came in they were playing more of a "prevent D". That being said I'm excited about his potential as a player and offensive/team leadership qualities. Seems like a quality young man
