I was taking my son to his team practice yesterday---we got out of the car and we both had Clemson t-shirts on.

We start walking towards the field, and then these two kids start going "boooo clemson". I let the first one slide, but then they do it again, so my kid and I walk up to them and their smirking redneck dad.

Me (to one of the kids): "Hey bud, I bet you're a gamecock, right?"

Him: "Yeah"

Me: "How old are you"

Him: "8"

Me: "Congratulations---your team has beaten us twice since you've been born. My son here is only 6 and he's seen us beat you 5 times. Have a good one!"

(Dad and kid silently scowl).

As we're walking away my son said to me "Heh---those guys are losers". Normally I would have probably given him a lesson in being a good winner, but I let it slide.
