What I'm Gonna Miss The Most

First off, I'm gonna miss my family the most. But then I'm gonna miss closing my eyes as I walk into Death Valley and hearing the Tiger Band play Sock It To 'Em as they roll right into the Tiger Rag when our Tigers run down The Hill. I always imagine myself running down The Hill with the team because I would do anything to get in one of those jerseys and hit somebody like I used to do on Friday nights.
As you guys get to go to a game this year, try to remember everyone who is just as dedicated a fan as you are but are not lucky enough to witness such a beautiful sight as Death Valley this year. Yell at the top of your lungs because there are many soldiers here in Iraq who are singing the Fight Song just as loud as you are. I take great pride in being a Tiger Fan and that pride will be passed on to my daughters.
Being a soldier makes you live life to the fullest everyday because you don't know when your last day may be. That's the way the Tigers should play and that's how everyone else should live their lives. You play every play as if it is your last...On and Off the field.

I do know and understand what you are saying. In 1972 I was feeling just as you are now. Keep you head down and pay close attention to what your job is. And we will see you in the Valley of the Orange Paw when you return. Thanks for your dedacation to keeping America free and safe from the Bad Guys.

Yes sir, I'll do my best in saving as many coots as I can.
Thank you for everything you did for our country also. Hopefully I can take my leave around the holidays and at least make it to a Bowl game this year. Thank you again for your service and dedication to our country. Go Tigers!
