Regardless of what happens this year

Aug 28, 2009, 12:27 PM

wins or losses, ACC championship or not, it has been an absolute privilege watching Spiller play. When he chose Clemson that day way back when we got one of the greatest players to ever don the Orange and White. He has been a human highlight reel on the football field, but more importantly he has been a great ambassador for the University and a stand up individual off the field. Here's to many more highlights this year and years to come on Sundays! Go 28 and Go Tigers!

CJ is the man, no doubt. The man picked Clemson 3 times

when nobody thought we had a shot a signing him. UF tried every thing to get him to transfer, but he stayed. Then the NFL came calling, and he stayed again! CJ it's been fun watching you, and my signed #28 jersey will be hanging in my house forever.
My favorite CJ moments:
1. Breaking ankles vs GT
2. Auburn run.
3. BC freshman year taking the 5 yard pass to the house
4. 1st time he touched the ball vs. the coots 80yds
5. Walking across the stage, and picking up the HEISMAN trophy!

How can a coot call him soft, when they haven't touched him

I agree. It has been a total pleasure to watch this young man develop into what we like to call a "Clemson" guy. Total class! Go Get Em this season! I've got the life size Heisman campaign poster hanging right now (just wish I had an opportunity to get it signed.)

I unashamedly stated I wanted him back, not just to win more

games, but just because I wanted to watch him one more year. I've seen the best ever, Yauger, Callicutt, Ratchford, Brown, McCall, Mcswain, Harris,Austin, Flagler, Flowers,Ricochet Rabbit,Allen, Williams, Henderson.....

But CJ is special! I'm 51 and in good shape, but I still may not be around long enough to see another one like him. I hope he has a GREAT year!!!!
