As a licensed SC Foster Parent I found this article especially touching. I would also encourage everyone to consider fostering children at some point in your journey through life. The difference that you can make can not be quantified, not to mention the personal growth that you will experience because of the experience! People often say that foster parents are special people, but we are all quite normal. If anything it is the experience that makes us special. At least considering some sort of mentoring program, anything to help change a kid's life for the better.
