Spurrier got run over by a Bowden
Coaching for the Gamecocks one Nov’mber eve,
Coots may say there’s no such thing as dominance,
But as for me and Tommy, we believe.

They’d all been drinkin’ too much Koot Aid,
And we told them not to trust.
The SEC was not as good as usual,
And for Tigers, beating the Coots is a must.

When they found Steve the next mornin’,
At the scene of the assault,
There were pawprints on his Spur-lid,
It appeared Darth Visor’s reign was at a halt.

Spurrier got run over by a Bowden
Coaching for the Gamecocks one Nov’mber eve,
Coots may say there’s no such thing as dominance,
But as for me and Tommy, we believe.

Now, were all so proud of Whitehurst.
Against the Chickens, he’s 4 for 4.
I’m sure we’ll see him playin’ Sundays,
And he’s left us with JD to win some more.

Another sad Christmas for the Lamecocks.
All the Chicken’s dressed in black.
And they just can't help but wonder:
Should they fire Steve and bring Brad back?

Now the bowls are on the schedule
And the recruits are signing in.

My guess, Coach Bowden wins again!

We may have beat them 13-9 in this one.
But you know that we will hear.
"This was just the Old Ball Coach’s first time,
Just you wait until next year."
