I had planned on us going to a park for a picnic. We both wound up getting kinda sick, so she just wanted us to go to my house and do the picnic later. We were sitting on the couch and since she felt worse than I did i got down on my knees (both) and was hugging her and checking on her. I was able to sneak the ring out of my pocket and stick it under the couch pillow. Then after a little while she asked my if I felt any better. I said "No, but you know what would make me feel better?" Then I went to one knee and opened the box and asked her if she would marry me. The box had a light in it, so it gave it a cool effect since it was night time. It wasn't as planned, but she loved it. Kinda different, but I wouldn't change it.
