that Spurrier only has 3 years left on his contract?
Usually, teams can rip stuff like that to shreds on the recruiting trail. I'm assuming they're just telling kids that Ellis Johnson will be the replacement and everything will stay in tact for them??
First off, I don't see Spurrier there for longer than 2 more years, but how can you recruit against Clemson, FSU, and other SEC schools with a contract like that?

promoting the fact that they are a bowling school. You can get up to 12
strikes in a game of bowling. However Spurrier hasn't learned the rules yet. When ask regarding Garcia, how many strikes a player gets, he said "you will have to ask someone else". The head football coach said "you will have to ask someone else". It would be unbelievable if it weren't Scar.

Cletiger, you nailed it. Spurrier can recruit as he pleases, because he knows he is about to be playing golf and far from Columbia.

no more garcia or jefferies. spurrier is gonna take it to the hizzle after this season win or lose. but as far as recruiting goes... there will always be trash who want to wear "#####" on their chest and heads

Actually we did know, partially because everyone is tracking that group at Stephenson hoping that their school can get a few of those players.

Actually Roland will probably be their top recruit.
Neillycoot, y'all might have a respectable haul but mark my word, you WILL get out-done on the recruiting trail by us again & even though y'all have 2 wins straight over us, what we're cooking up WILL lead us back to where we belong (that includes slapping the coots around like we're usually used to doing).
Wanna make a bet on who has a better a haul for '12 bud? Didn't think so. You're not dumb, you know what's up.

As usual, probably will get outrecruited by clemson. With all the superior talent that clemson had over SC during the past 2 years, I guess SC was just fortunate that their players were better (by wide margins) on those 2 days they played. Better to be well-coached by having a Head Coach who knows how to efficiently and effectively carry out his duties and responsibilities, than not.

Why not? surely he can have a 4 year deal with zero buyout. He has all the leverage. He has always said you need to be able to tell recruits you are going to be there 4 years.
Something tells me he is a little sick of Eric Hyman et al and he may leave when Lattimore is done.
