Sorry I didn't give any sources, when posting earlier...

Mar 13, 2005, 11:32 PM

about our NIT game here:
http://www.thetigernet.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=1029287#1029287

But,
1. there was no linkable post from where I got the information.
2. I didn't really feel NIT pairings were so critical that someone would believe I simply made them up.

I understand that there's plenty of falsehoods posted on message boards though.
Just thought I'd try to explain.

A Trash Can and a rating of [2.90 / 31] in less than a 16 minute span tells me some people were a bit fast to whack him upside the head. Don't get me wrong I despise people on the net that run their mouth with no facts to back it up, but I think some people may have been a bit hasty lighting him up the way they did.

Is it wrong to ask for the source ...well of course not.

Flaps? We don't need no stinkin' flaps, let it roll in hard and fast!

I agree

A good typer with half a brain can do alot of damage. I've seen it happen. It gets snapped up on some message board or blog and then it spreads because no one checks sources. Before you know it everyone thinks it's fact.

Nothing against the poster, but I prefer to know exactly where something originates before I believe it.

The main problem in convincing stupid people that they are stupid, is that they are usually too stupid to comprehend their own stupidity.

Drive fast, turn left!

IMHO, people trashed the post because it was not a home
