Little post game story..

With my 13yo daughter at the game. You should know she is polite, cute, and decked out in tiger gear.

Game is over, and we just sit, watching the confetti cannons and gold streamers, the crappy Saban interview, the players celebrating.
We shake hands with some older Clemson gentleman behind us. We soak it in.
We finally leave when they tell us we have to go.

We get outside and we're circling the stadium to find our lot. We pass two guys, one looking down like many Tigers felt.
We acknowledge each other with a hello and keep walking.

I tell my daughter who it was and she goes running after him. I turn around and watch as this man's face lights up as he is speaking to my daughter, then leans over and gives her a big hug, both with smiles on their faces.
Now CJ knows why I always go to games with my daughter.. she just has a way of making the wins and losses better no matter what. The smiles on both of theor faces! And for her, what a way to end a national championship run of a season!

Got to love the Clemson family.

I just dropped tears into my lunch. :) Thank you sir, for both your story & for raising such a wonderful young soul. That's a great story. Don't ever forget it, I'm sure CJ won't.
