I'm guessing there are lots, but lets say next year in football clemson is undefeated and ranked 3rd in the country at the very end of the year, and USuC's game before the clemson game is against florida who is ranked #2. The only way Clemson gets a shot at the BCS title is if #1 or #2 loses, and #1 is some team who's season is over or essentially over, like Boise State. So basically the only way Clemson gets in is if Florida loses. You wouldn't maybe pull for the chickens to beat florida in that scenario?

There is one and only one way that would ever happen. If some how USC winning got the man in a suit to hand us the trophy, right then and there. I'd want them to win. Otherwise, NEVER. Trophy in hand, pack it up take it home. Only way. State pride can sit on it, out side the south east most don't know Clemson is in SC.
