so we look the newest member of the family BB to vet

this Friday, not only does he have a skin condition but he also tested positive for heartworm.
So treatment has started.
Mr OSF received word from Docs they want to check his liver for cancer.
I'm going to just go ahead and scream!!!

But the best dog I ever had, Bart (named after the Simpson’s character), came into my life with heartworm and I believe it was parvo too. Dad didn’t think he’d make it. But he paid for all the vet visits and pills just the same cussing all the while and saying he’d regret the decision to let us adopt a puppy. That Lab mutt lived 12 years and was the best dog anybody ever had. Even real dog lovers that I knew would always tell me, you got a really good dog.
I hope your doggy makes it through these tough times and lives to frustrate you in many different ways.

A while back, I got the same liver call, turns out there are a lot of things like taking a lot of Tylenol or having a recent injury throws off the bloodwork results so don’t freak about that until you have too.

I thought it was the dog.
I hope that man lives to be 100 with minimal difficulty. Of course, he will. Can you imagine how strong you have to be to subdue and keep an OSF as a spouse? It’s like super human crap. You know?
