when we went to Amelia Island back in the day. Haven't been in years, but when one of my high school pals moved down there in the early 80s, we used to go fairly regularly. They always had good alcohol deals and booked good live music. I'm sure they still turn out the signature Pirate's Punch too.

Dunno where you're staying, but Salty Pelican and Timoti's Seafood Shak in Fernandina Beach are pretty #### good. Pelican is on the river, has a rooftop part, etc. so a bit more of an "experience".
Tasty's Fresh Burgers is dope...it's just a burger joint on the coast, so may be a lower priority than some seafood.
Also, this time of year, watch out for the flies. Usually go during Memorial Day and me and the wife went last year and the flies were horrible, especially down in the Amelia/southern part of FB areas. Go up to the beach by Sliders...you can drive on the beach and all that, and the winds were good enough to keep the flies away.
