Just a really poor design ...from a stability standpoint . Those wagons weren't made for fast movement and most certainly not for sudden sharp turns at that speed .
This down time is plenty enough for a little tweak . Go ahead and widen the wheelbase , drop a spring or two and then 86' the twin thoroughbreds for an old barn mule .

And I am reminded of an old adage from back during the depression ---- "If you want to ride and want to ride fast, get a rubber-tired buggy and a young jackass".

there’s no one in Oklahoma that can repair a busted up wagon? If this had happened 130 years ago I suspect they could have had that rinky dinky little wagon good as new in two days.

Still amazes me that no one help the girl up of the ground.

Could get the thing fixed up in a day or two like they did 100+ years ago with simple hand tools. Are you telling me modern construction techniques couldn't rebuild a new one in a week if they really wanted to. Come On Mannn
