Uva BB similar to Clemson football?

They went thru their not living up to expectations. Uva had it's version of Clemsoning where it was brought up all the time. Until they finally had their break thru moment. I suspect uva will win it all in the near future.

How many ACC Championships do they have?

Regular season ones don't count. Until they have official conference championships, UVA Basketball is nothing like Clemson Football.

Tournaments are a crap shoot. What you did over 18 league games should weigh more heavily.

Not until they win 4 consecutive conference championships, 5 peat the coots and beat Bamalama 2 twice for National Championships. Soooooo........it’ll never happen......Bamalama will never make it to the National Championship.

Villanova is the closest kin in the basketball world to our football team. NC in '85, '16, '18


Consistently good/great/champion -but smaller- program.

Wins a break-out NC as a dark-horse in the 80s, then 2 natties in two years after a VERY LONG development of a young coach.

Not even close.....one college football national championship is worth at least three college basketball national championships when it comes to exposure, prestige, and financial benefits.......and Va has not even won one basketball championship much less a football championship......I would say they have a lot of catching up to do if they want to be even considered comparable to Clemson.....Go Tigers!!!!!!!
