Its Week 1, so no "short week"

Its Week 1, we're counting down to it all Summer, so kicking off 2 days earlier isn't so bad

Nice mini vacation opportunity with the Holiday on Monday

We get 2 extra days to prepare for Texas A&M in Week 2

GT is changing over from the Option to another style Offense. This will no go well for them. If all goes according to plan we can sit back and watch all the Kickoff Classic games on Saturday

If nothing else, its an August game in Death Valley that doesn't start at sweltering 1:00. I think we can all agree that's a positive.
