Steph Curry just took FOUR full steps. Then he almost took

May 4, 2019, 10:43 PM

another one but caught himself just in time. Not 2 1/2, not 3, not a "eurostep", but four full big-boy steps. It wasn't even close or hard to catch; it was very, very obvious. Announcer said "Curry almost walked". NBA fans are so ignorant, nobody cares. It's like the NBA, Harlem Globetrotters, and WWE all rolled into one. Tremendous athletes with unbelievable skills, but the sport doesn't matter beyond it's entertainment value. Folks have come to see a show, and that's what they're going to get.

His rejection by the rim was crazy.

Basketball is becoming rugby with the running bounce rule

Sep 29, 2009, 12:09 AM

have to take one bounce every 15 meters. It's not uncommon for someone to get the ball at the other teams 3 point line and make a layup or dunk having only dribbled the ball twice.

It's very rare I watch the NBA anymore

Sep 29, 2009, 7:50 AM

so it doesn't bother me. The game of basketball and what constitutes a foul has changed so much since I was a kid growing up in the 80's. I know all things change but at least we didn't wear mouthpieces to play basketball in those days.
I agree with you it seems the rules are more liberal.

The greater the NBA star power the more steps you are allowed.
