There are a number of things that a good hitting coach can do to help improve the timing of swings. Sometimes a simple adjustment in the batters box can speed up or slow down a swing. There really aren’t that many great hitting coaches around these days. Apparently.

I agree. Very few coaches, especially at the high school level, teach proper hitting fundamentals.
