I see what you did there, and recognize you probably have no real interest in the history of gig'em, but for any Tigers who are actually interested in learning about another random, weird thing about A&M, here ya go...
Way back, a long long time ago like before WW2, back when TCU was a relevant program, there was some old ag at a yell practice before the TCU game. He was all riled up and excited and said something along the lines of "we're gonna gig'em!" A gig is a long, like 8 foot or so, narrow trident shaped tool used for hunting frogs. You hold it like a javelin, with a fist and your thumb coming up like a sign of approval. The whole thing stuck because it's A&M and who knows why. But for anyone actually curious, that's the story behind another odd aggie thing.
