Monte Lee was smart to pitch Sharpe today

It kept us from using up a lot of arms in the bullpen. Now we are full strength with Matt Clark starting tomorrow. Hopefully he can go 6 or 7 innings deep. But with all that said who is our game 3 starter? Any predictions.

Askew or Crawford would be my guess.

Most likely Askew or Lindley. Brooks just hasn’t made it back...

Dude do you have Alzheimers or something? I come on here for one thing and one thing only. That’s to talk about Clemson sports. I’m not a troll and I do not give a crap about the coots. I only want to beat the coots in every single sport. Go Tigers

Why do Tiger fans see a Coot behind every post?

I gave up trying to make comment or start a conversation after being attacked as being a Coot countless time.

Yeah I mean it really gets old. I really enjoy TigerNet. I don’t want to go to another site I want to get along with everyone here without being called something that I’m not. I’ve been a Clemson fan since I was little.

Guys don’t let the immature discourage you. Every new person that comes on the board they treat that way.

Askew!!!

I love the movement on his pitches . . . I even like an occasional erratic pitch to keep everyone honest!!!
We're just here "talking baseball" right??? Would a more "over the top" release help his control issues, rather than his 3/4 to sidearm delivery?
The more vertical release would drive his slider and curve downward, rather than sweeping wide. His fastball would still "run in" on a left handed hitter, but it would also drive downward. His follow through would be towards home for better defensive positioning.
His actual release of the ball need not change so his pitches would still be wicked . . . Just the angle of his release . . . Sorry just thinking "out loud" . . . He is too talented NOT to have him pitching well!!!!!!!
If I'm full of it . . . Just tell me . . .

Now, we’re talking baseball. Or at least you are. Great assessment. Obviously, not something you can change now but does See change his angle during the summer and fall?
I’m asking because you see that 3/4- sidearm a good bit in pitchers... especially relief. Or is it just the way Askew throws.
I know one thing, Next year with Strider coming back and possibly raffield in relief and mid week games... we should have quite the rotation, coupled with the fact our freshman hitters maturing and learning to lay off the curve and high fastball, we can have a deep team.

Definitely Askew. Lindley will be good but imo he doesn’t have a stable of pitches like Askew or Sharpe.
