Reddit created a fake high school player with a Twitter account. No film,no pics, no nothing. He tweeted that he had an offer from Bama and was almost immediately made a 3 star.So, there you go.

Anyone who didn't know that rankings were based on which programs recruited the players just isn't keeping up. The ranking services have favored SEC teams since the early days of the BCS era.

Thinking that the recruiting services actually scouted players is the laugh. They don't have the funding, personnel or skill to evaluate players. Heck they gave Justin Fields a .9992 rating with Trevor a .9998. There's a lot more distance between the two than .0006.

It's all entertainment, closer to theater than life.
