expectations of a glorious football season...........just had a coot tell me they were going to win 10 games this year. I told him whatever he was smoking, he needs to put it down. 5-6 wins at most.

Like clockwork. Observing their rising expectations to the point of full blown delusion, and then the inevitable meltdown, is one of my favorite pastimes.

But do remember that they have one guaranteed win on their schedule, Alabama. Coots win and it's something big. But most likely Alabama will win and as we all know the Coots treat an Alabama win as their own. I call it the Parker Lewis Bowl. Back in the early 90s there was a teen sitcom titled "Parker Lewis Can't Lose." Coots are so reality challenged.

Yep, they're the perennial preseason national champs. I have a coworker that tries to get under my skin - he told me "he believes this is their season". I told him the only thing I believe is that they'll go 4-8 maybe, and this will be Musclump's last season.
