Kelly Bryant spent a good chunk of his Sr year of HS in the hospital. He lost 51 lbs. 51 EFFING POUNDS! Wore a colostomy bag to his prom.
Does that give you some idea of this kid's heart? How can you not pull for him to lead his brothers to another national championship? This dude is a fighter. And he's a DUDE.
I'm all about the best guy earning the job. If TL can take it from Kelly, awesome! But I sure as Hades will pull for KB with all I've got if he's our starter. Kid is a winner. Kid is tough. Kid is a TIGER!

*sigh*. Kid has heart... Kid has leadership skills... Kid has running ability. Kid has issues with the deep ball.
One of these days, some of you will learn to comprehend that people are pulling for him... Under the condition his passing improves. If it doesn't, pain and simple, he's not going to end up the best QB, regardless what he's been through. Medical issues don't give you a pass to start as the 2nd best guy.

If TL can take the job, AWESOME! It will mean he's ALL THAT and then some.
KB is a not just a good story, he's that rare kind of person who faces adversity and overcomes. So now he's got fans like you apparently hoping he fails. He won't.
Just so you know where I'm coming from, if TL takes the job, holy MOSES! The freshman is clearly da shizzle. KB won't make it easy.
So, again, if KB starts, I'll be behind him 110%

But I really don't think that's fair. He's a lot more capable than that. We'll see by week 2 how much he's improved.
The look of frustration he had in the spring game to me looked like this: "Aw man, I hit that throw every time in practice!"
We shall see. Cream rises to the top. He'll have to play very well to stay ahead of TL.

and he finishes 2nd or 3rd in the Heisman (cause
we don't know what it would take for a Clemson
player to win it). Would also be great if he
got revenge on Bama, cause this time it's personal.
