Five star high school players who have lived up to their

potential...meaning great in high school, college, and the pros. My first thoughts are:
Hershel, Clowney, Julio Jones (my #1), Deshawn (although some had him a four star), don’t know how Emmit Smith was rated in high school, who else?

Yep, AJ Green would have to be on the list. Imagine if he was a high school recruit now, Clemson might have a better shot at signing him. I went to a Bengals home game a couple years ago and those fans love themselves some AJ Green.

I think not. Had one good play but hasn't lived up to #1 overall potential at all in terms of health and production.

All dominated in college and have had long careers in the NFL. They're not all All-Pros, but they did what they were supposed to do. I think it looks like about 15-20% of 5-stars become NFL starters, another 15-20% make it to the NFL as role players, and the rest fizzle out in college or early in their careers.
