Saving arms for Saturday and Sunday is all I have. He knows baseball and figured this game is over with our approach at the plate tonight.

Or you don’t realize giving up a battle to win the war. Not sure if you watched the game tonight but our approach to hitting the game was over very very early. You think we should waste our best arms and lose anyway? Think it’s a better strategy to waste arms and go make a run at Saturday and Sunday.

it was over very early? How can they know that soon? Adjustments at the dish need to be made on this team and it starts with Monte Lee. Pitching tonight was not the issue.

How can they know that? Because they have been around the game and can see what’s unfolding. I hope we rally here and I look like an idiot, doesn’t change our approach to hitting in every inning save the 1st and 9th. Just not a good effort and you dont waste arms on a single game in baseball. We looked bad at the plate early and baseball is a series game. Save the arms and win Saturday and Sunday. Smart call by Monte.

Agree... we’ve been trying to hit a 4 run solo home run on the first pitch since the 4th. Good call to give us a chance tomorrow and Sunday.
