All offseason talk was kier Meredith is healthy and he’s a stud yadadada

He doesnt even start opening game. Starts game 2 and does nothing. Then monte starts a freshmen over him that can’t see flyballs, so I have to ask is Keira Meredith a bust or is he not developing? Because monte just started a freshman and a sophomore with no experience instead of him this weekend twice. Which is it? Can’t wait to see these answers. It’s one or the other.... and I don’t want to hear crap about his health because he’s as healthy as he’s ever been remember. those are his words

You can post your funny videos all you want but the question needs to be answered because it is a very logical question. The gem of the class hasn’t even done anything

First you have no idea when he was 100% healthy and when he was able to do the things one tends to have to do to prepare himself for the game of baseball. He has been hurt whether he is healthy right now or not and that impedes the development process, period.

I don’t think any of us can get a true read on him yet. He was injured last year so I’m sure that affected his play, at least I hope so. He struck out a ton last year and struck out 2 out of his 3 times at the plate yesterday. His fielding wasn’t very good either last year. I guess since he’s healthy now we will see how good he really is this year.

And when he did get on base he gets thrown out at third with two outs with Sam Hall at the plate. Dumb

Maybe this is your answer
Freshman has dazzling debut on the mound, in the batters box
Freshman Davis Sharpe wasn’t overwhelmed while earning his first win, he wasn’t overwhelmed by his first start as a hitter, and he certainly wasn’t overwhelmed by the media attention he faced late Saturday night. (Photo by David Grooms) Full Story »

It’s one series, could have been match up issues. You never know if someone really is healthy just bc they say they are fine doesn’t mean they are fine. Your not gonna tell your opponents of ya I have a nagging shoulder that’s hurting my ability to swing the bat. Also what did he do that made him terrible in the field don’t remember this from last year?

the good news is that at least baseball is not one of those sports where players have to work themselves back up to playing shape after an injury. I can still remember watching that guy who used to pitch relief for the Braves, with the beer belly. He was pretty danged good!
