Adrian Baker

Anyone got an update on the progress of Adrian's rehab? Is it realistic to think he will be back in September as Dabo projected shortly after Baker tore the ACL.

With a sports doc who used to work with Hokies and he thinks it is unlikely he will be back this year. Not impossible but it would be highly doubtful of a September return.

Swinney seems to be a little overly optimistic about recovery times. I would be surprised if he came back this year, but then again I am no orthopedic surgeon.

Weren't both Sam Cooper and Chad Kelly back in September after tearing their ACL in the spring game. I think Baker even tore his a month earlier in spring . Playing CB is what will make this one tricky.

The problem is physically back on practice field at full go

doesn't account then for the time it takes to get game ready.

Think of all this camp time he missed, then each week that goes by is yet another week of prep lost.

So Swinney likely references time back to practice field whereas we think about time back to game snaps.
