Why do our Bball players seem to excel after they transfer?

Everyone noticed Middlebrooks was playing at a higher level.

Al-Amir Dawes was the NIT MVP, won the NIT Championship and posted 24pts.

Trey Jemison looked great at UAB and is now in NBA playing for Grizzlies. Didn't look like NBA guy under CBB.

It's been mentioned that players don't seem to develop under CBB, is this why we see potential starters Transfer out?

We have seen Scheff become a much better player but is that an anomaly and good players are looking for better developmental coaching?

Curious thoughts?
