WCCP listeners

To the people that listen to WCCP, who are your least favorite callers or on air talent?

Callers: Paul from Enoree (sp?).
Red (good guy but hijacks the show
sometimes with non sports related topics

Host/producers: Mike Vaughn. Drives me crazy with all the women’s and men’s soccer talk in the middle of football
season.
Ben Milstead. Huge downgrade from Kelley Gramlich.

As Ron White likes to say, there is a lot of subject matter there, to choose

My favorite caller is the truck driver guy.....he's a gamecock fan but I always enjoy his calls. He's realistic and seems like a great dude.

I won't name any of my least favorite callers...there are a couple that I literally change the station when they call in.

As far as the hosts, I like all of them pretty well.

Don’t get to listen that often but when I do I enjoy the fact that it’s sll( mainly) about Clemson. So nothing really bad.
I used to like Plyler, but I’m never listening at that time anymore.
I’m probably in the minority, but I think Walt has some very good insight that the others don’t. Hard to listen to sometimes, but I think he prepares well for what he’s going to say.

Nothing against Ben but I really miss Gramlich.

I always liked Milstead - pretty even keeled guy and his sense of humor is much like mine

Either has to be the faxon kid he talks like he knows everything or the Thursday morning dude who produces the show he is always talking about coaching girl’s softball or formula 1 racing. Turn the channel on the days they are on.

The men's and women's soccer teams play during the fall too. Both teams ranked inside the top ten for the first time in the school's history. The women's team made it to the ACC final and is a #1 seed competing for the national championship.

The men's team is the highest-ranking team left in the ACC tourney competing in the semi-final tonight, and will likely be a high-ranking seed in the national championship run in the NCAA tournament after brackets are released.

It seems like something a Clemson Sports Network broadcast should be promoting and discussing also.

I'm all for the football talk, but let's celebrate the achievements of our other sports too.

"There's something in these hills and I suspect that's what it is - the ability of an institution through the unending dedication and greatness of its people - its administration, its faculty, its staff, its students and alumni - to impart to all it touches a respect, an admiration, an affection that stands firm in disquieting times when things around it give impressions of coming unglued." - Joe Sherman '34

I honestly don’t care even a tiny bit about anything other than the big 3 sports. I definitely don’t want to hear about it during football season. That’s just MY opinion, and it’s not worth a penny more than yours.

James truck driver favorite caller. 9-12 too tough to listen. Wish Qualk would stop talking so much and screaming. Like Plyler these days and Walt/Ramona are terrific. Miss Kelly very much
