Absolute log jam of guards if all this holds true. Jaeden Zachery, perfect fit for system and a Brownell type player. Still, slightly surprised by the move, but makes sense if Chase doesn't come back. If that were to happen, I'd expect Heidbreder to start alongside Zachery.

There's still one scholarship available. Has to be a post player pick up as there is just one center and one power forward currently on roster. A juco or mid major grad transfer that doesnt mind sittting more than playing is the most likely type. The two freshmen forwards are wings and can't back up Lahkin/Schieffelin.

*Theres also still a slight chance Hemenway doesn't come back which would open up another spot and help to alleviate the crowded backcourt situation.

Maybe RJ decides to stay. He could still get 20-25 mins a game within this group and be a part of a winning situation.

JZ said on his interview on commit he thinks Chase would probably be back.

If PJ doesn't come back which most expect, i think they need a big athletic guy similar to Godfrey but mayve taller.

I think one of the two freshmen guards is going to be redshirted which they seem to do every season. Link:
