In California . . .
Savannah Grewal has started nicely . . . 1 Under through 6 Holes has her currently T-13th Place
PGA TOUR
In Florida . . .
Ben Martin has just moved to 2 Under through 14 Holes and has moved into a T-9th Place.
MyfavOrange® ‘s Weekly Pick, Straka, has finished his Opening Round . . . Shooting +1 has him currently T-53rd Place.
Don’t be discouraged MfO, oftentimes the winner @ INNISBROOK RESORTS will shoot around 8-10 Under for the Tournament . . . Occasionally, the Winner will go as low as 15-17 Under.
The course isn’t particularly long, but she is narrow with tons of bass ponds to eat golf balls!!! It’s more of a ball strikers course . . . Hoping Lucas will come into it focused.

After starting his day shooting +1 on his first 9 . . . He has managed to find feathers 4x on his back 9 . . . the last one came on the 197 yard, Par 3, 17th Hole when he knocked his tee shot to within 5 1/2 feet for the birdie!!!
Don’t look now, but we have a TIGER in the Top 5 with one hole remaining in his day!!!
18th Hole: His tee shot went into the left rough, ~120 yards to the flag which is tucked behind a protecting front left bunker. Not the best angle, but we’ll see . . .
*** We’ll see indeed . . . Ben knocked it within 11’ for yet another birdie attempt . . . looking at the diagram, that was not an easy shot out of the rough . . .

Ben missed his birdie putt and ended his day currently T-5th Place @ -3 . . . Nicely done TIGER!!!

doing “Savy Things” . . . finding feathers again on her 10th Hole now has her at 2 Under and T-8th Place . . .
Savannah continues to impress me with her concentration and determination!!! I miss her being with Our Team, but am so Happy for Her!!!

So far, Ben and Savannah are getting it done. Glad to see Rose Zhang in the tournament. All the big girls in this one.
Lucas coming on. Hopefully Carson can get something going.
Sad to say and hope I'm wrong but Jacob will probably be 2 and done. This course is probably too many hazards and too tight of fairways for his driving woes.

Round 1 @ INNISBROOK RESORTS . . .
Lucas showed up . . . with 2 bogeys and 5 birdies he is T-13th Place with Ben @ 3 Under Par.
Carson found feathers on 2 of his 3 final holes to get to Even Par.
If the Cut was today it would be set @ 1 Under . . . so there is a chance Our Stragglers can still get into weekend play if they have a solid round tomorrow.

Ummm, nope. Jacob will make an early exit. He posted something this week about working on his driver. Whatever it was, I think I'd scrap it. Never seen someone hit so many fairway bunkers on the par 5's as Jacob does.
I do agree with you that as tough as the course is, I think the cut can be made at -2. Not sure what the weather is, but absent any weather, I find it hard that it'd stay at 1. So Jacob needs a -6 . Carson has a great chance.
You know I'd be the happiest gal on earth if Jacob shot 6 under tomorrow and made cut.
I was looking at his overall historical stats??? I'm assuming it's just PGA tour stats. I was shocked at how bad some were. He ranks 102 in 3rd round scoring. Tons of fun and storylines tomorrow.
